Ursa Major 2026 Guest of Honor

Bay Area Kei is excited to announce our 2026 Ursa Major Guest of Honor, Lolibrary!

Lolibrary was founded in June of 2010 as a lolita fashion item database with the goal of answering questions like "What size is this JSK? What's the name of this print? What brand is this? Is the lace itchy?" and the dream of being a sanctuary for the history of lolita fashion.

Lolibrary believes that lolita fashion is a unique street fashion subculture which brings together a large number of people around the world. Documenting the collections released by lolita fashion designers allows for people to have a better understanding of the history of the fashion, providing a valuable resource to the community.

Today, the site is operated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit by volunteers and friends of the late founder, and lists over 111,000 items stretching back over 50 years.
