How well do you know your lolita heau?

Welcome to the Garnet Gateau Game Sheau, hosted by Mani Tokkigo of Bay Area Kei! In this game show, pairs of contestants will face off to see who knows their partner best! Each contestant will be asked questions about their partner, with the goal of matching the answer their partner has already provided to the hosts. Whichever pair scores the most points in a given period of time will be awarded a prize, supplied by members of Bay Area Kei! The game show will be aired live as a panel during the Garnet Gateau event.

Rules:

  • Competing pairs must consist of at least one J-fashion wearer. Contestant pairs can stream from the same location, or separately. 

  • Pairs can be made of romantic partners, platonic buddies, family members, lifetime nemesis, etc.! 

  • Each pair must submit an application video answering a series of questions about themselves. This will allow us to jury our selection of applicants. 

  • Applicants must all have adequate webcam, audio, and Wi-Fi setup for streaming

  • Applicants must be available to participate in the panel on Friday, February 5th at 10:30 PM PST, as well be available for a tech rehearsal the week before the event (time will be arranged after applicants are determined)
